Mose Allison Jazz/Blues.
There are few artists who have had
a greater impact on musicians of the last 50 years than pianist,
singer and composer Mose Allison. Allison has been touring and
recording for at least that long and his songs have been
recorded by many artists, among them, The Who, Bonnie Raitt, Van
Morrison, Elvis Costello, The Clash and Diana Krall. His
singular style, a unique blending of jazz and blues, and his
profound lyrical wit, mark him as a true American original.

shift from the heavy, dark décor of the Victorian Era to a
light-filled, exotic Orientalism that came to shape interiors
and fashions for the rich and famous of his time. There is a $2
per car parking fee on weekends (members free) Nassau County
Museum of Art is located at One Museum Drive (just off Northern
Boulevard, Route 25A, two traffic lights west of Glen Cove Rd.)
